Some stomach sleepers prefer a low pillow profile. An adjustable pillow lets you remove fill gradually and assess comfort, but there is no one height or size that suits every sleeper.

Start with how the pillow feels lying down
Try the pillow on your usual mattress with your usual pillowcase. If it feels too high, remove a small amount of fill, redistribute what remains and try it again. Save clean removed fill so the change is reversible.
Why fill access matters
MAREA uses a hidden zipper so you can change the amount of kapok inside. Other adjustable pillows use different fills, including shredded foam. Choose based on construction, feel and care rather than assuming that every foam pillow is fixed or every plant fiber will suit you.
Size and loft are different
Standard 20 × 26, Queen 20 × 30 and King 20 × 36 describe length and width. A longer pillow is not automatically more comfortable for stomach sleeping. Choose a footprint that fits your bed and pillowcases, then adjust the fill.
Comfort and health concerns
MAREA is not a treatment for neck pain or other symptoms. Seek qualified advice about persistent discomfort or a condition that affects your sleep position. The pillow trial is for evaluating comfort, not testing whether a known sensitivity is safe.
Care and trial
Keep the filled pillow dry and wash the separate cover according to its label. MAREA pillows have a 100 day trial from delivery with a prepaid US return label; original shipping charges are nonrefundable.
