The fill is wild harvested kapok, a silky fiber gathered by hand from the seed pods of kapok trees growing free in Indonesian rainforests. Nothing is farmed, sprayed, or chemically treated; the trees simply drop their pods and the fiber inside is cleaned and packed. Each strand is hollow and mostly air, which is why kapok lofts like down while staying entirely plant based. The cover is GOTS certified organic cotton sateen, certified from the fiber through every step of processing.

The cover zips off and machine washes cold on a gentle cycle; tumble dry low or line dry. The kapok fill itself never goes in the wash.
